Finance and Audit

Charter:
The Finance & Audit Committee has the following roles and duties and sets forth its Charter as follows:

• Establish appropriate internal financial controls, monitor Game Trail Association financial procedures and activity for adherence to internal controls, and report to the Board of Directors regarding any encountered weaknesses.
• Review financial statements quarterly for reasonableness, investigate any major unexplained budget variances and report to the Board of Directors thereon.
• Assist the Board of Directors in determining the appropriate level of annual fees for property owners.
• Analyze and make recommendations regarding the budgetary impact of plans for funding the replacement of existing or purchase of new capital assets and the maintenance of appropriate levels of working capital reserves.
• Engage the Association's audit firm, serve as liaison with the auditor and report annually as needed to the Board of Directors after receipt of the auditor's work product.
• Monitor and make recommendations to the Board of Directors regarding Game Trail Association banking and investment accounts.
